Yateks G Series Benchtop Camera Control Unit

The Yateks G Series Benchtop Camera Control Unit is the processing core of a rigid video borescope workstation system. It accepts Yateks G Series rigid probes via the probe interface cable and delivers HDMI video output to any HD monitor — giving quality assurance teams, NDT technicians, and inspection engineers full flexibility to integrate into an existing workstation without being locked into a handheld display.

Designed for the inspection of internal cracks, corrosion, foreign matter, and other defects in aerospace, automotive, marine, electrical, chemical, and power generation applications.

 

Built for Repeatable, Workstation-Based Inspection

Unlike a handheld borescope, the G Series Camera Control Unit is designed for fixed benchtop inspection stations where components come to the scope. This format suits high-throughput inspection in automotive casting, aerospace component QC, turbine blade examination, and precision manufacturing — anywhere a technician needs to inspect the same bore geometry on multiple parts in sequence.

The G Series is the upgraded successor to the Yateks B+ Benchtop Series.

 

Advanced Image Processing Controls

The G Series Camera Control Unit gives technicians precise control over image quality directly from the front panel:

• Brightness: 5 levels of LED illumination control

• Exposure control: 4 metering modes for varying light conditions

• Sharpness: 6 levels (S0–S5)

• Highlight Suppression (HLC): Reduces glare from highly reflective surfaces

• Low-light Compensation: Enhances visibility in dark or shadowed bores

• Digital Zoom: Up to 4× continuous zoom

• Image Freeze: Capture a stable frame without recording

• Image Flip: Horizontal, vertical, or 180° rotation

• White Balance: Auto or manual

• Reference Grid: Coarse, medium, or fine overlay for measurement reference

• Aspect Ratio: 16:9 or 1:1

• Color Effects: Normal, Black-and-White, Negative

• Dual-camera switching (for compatible dual-camera probes)

Recording and Storage

• Image format: JPEG/JPG with date/time stamp

• Video format: MOV with date/time stamp

• Internal storage: 32 GB built-in

• Expandable storage: Micro SD card slot, up to 128 GB

• Firmware updates: Via Micro SD card
