The iShot® Imaging Model E Industrial Handheld Video Borescope is a complete industrial handheld video borescope system that performs the most demanding remote visual inspections (RVI). The Model E is an innovative portable video borescope with features such as best-in-class picture clarity, 1:1 image format, screen brightness, and intuitive operation. Clear, precise images are critical for RVI applications such as turbine blade castings, engine blocks, pumps, and metal tubing, the iShot® Imaging Model E Video Borescope delivers clear results.
The Clear 1:1 Advantage
The iShot® Model E has advanced imaging features that aide in difficult RVI inspection applications. The first of its kind, the Model E uses the full potential of its 1:1 CMOS imaging sensor by displaying and saving images in the 1:1 aspect ratio. The 1:1 Model E image is not distorted or stretched to typical 4:3 or 16:9 formats, so image corner distortion is absent on the ultra-clear 4” x 4” display.
Defects, scratches, seam lines, dust, and foreign object debris (FOD) have never been easier to identify with the iShot® Model E Video Borescopes' image enhancement features. Use quick buttons to adjust exposure, sharpness, brightness, and display effects like negative, color, monochrome, and grid filters to make image targets pop in detail for easy and precise inspections.
Wide & Narrow Depth of Field (DOF) Range
The iShot® Model E’s impressive DOF, has a ranges of 2 to 50 mm, allowing inspectors to see more details in-focus. The near focus range allows for focus as close as 2 mm allowing easy clarity throughout the inspection.
Efficient, Controlled Inspections
With direct button control for image brightness, sharpness, exposure, picture effects, zoom, and rotation, an inspector does not need to access a menu screen to make live picture adjustments. The Model E also has a quick startup and probe changing cycle – 10 seconds to release the probe from the monitor, 10 seconds to install a new probe, 10 seconds to power on and see a live image.
Versatile and Numerous Probe Options
The iShot® Model E Platform has a wide variety of probes available, from diameters of 1.2 to 6 mm, with different Directions of View (DOV) available, including direct, side or both simultaneously (dual). Lengths from 1.0 to 10 meters allow for a variety of applications to be covered by our versatile platform. Each probe is constructed using strong, resilient tungsten-braid sheathing and is compatible with the iShot® Model E Handheld Video Borescope Monitor.
The iShot® Model E Industrial Video Borescope 2.0 mm OD Direct View probe offers 5,000 Lux illumination, making this probe suitable for detailed small-diameter inspections. The 0° direction of view makes this system optimal for locating defects inside parts as you maneuver into a bore or cavity of a part. With 4-way articulation and 2 to 50 mm DOF, this scope ensures maximum visual inspection coverage.
All Way - Direct View: Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Reference Wire Working Channel (only available on the All Way - Direct View Model)
The iShot® Model E Non-Articulating Video Borescope 2.0 mm Direct View features a built-in 0.38 mm working channel—specifically designed to pass a 0.3 mm reference wire. This allows precise measurement of foreign object debris (FOD) or internal defects, giving users a reliable visual and dimensional reference during inspections without compromising maneuverability.
