iGrab™ Complete Professional FOD Retrieval Tool Kit
The iGrab™ Complete Professional FOD Retrieval Tool Kit is designed to give operators multiple ways to remove foreign objects from tight, hard-to-reach areas. With the Complete Professional kit on hand, a facility can quickly respond to a retrieval situation that may be disrupting mechanical systems or power generation plant operations.
At the core of the kit is the RT-750 Electro Mechanical Tool—a heavy-duty, motorized mechanical gripper with a closing force greater than 20 lbs at 30 degrees of closure. A range of detachable jaw sets—including the Sample Cup, Viper, Plier Jaw, and Fork & Tine—allows an FME operator to securely grasp and remove a wide variety of debris. The RT-750 mounts to interlocking fiberglass push pole sets for controlled handling. Push poles are supplied in sets of 10 in 3/16", 5/16", and 3/8" diameters. For added reach and positioning, end adapters and knuckle joints can be used to further manipulate the RT-750.
The kit also includes non-motorized grabbing solutions for additional retrieval flexibility. Two sizes of J hooks, magnets, and snares are provided for dislodging, ensnaring, and capturing objects that need to be removed. All components pack into a durable locking hard case, while the push poles store separately in a canvas quiver with a shoulder strap.
